High Five! V-ROX is in its 5th year!
Dear friends, we have some wonderful news! This year V-ROX Festival will be taking 4-6 August 2017 in the city of Vladivostok in its usual home the Sports Embankment harbor.

We have taken the first five steps and will build a better future and go further.
For the last five years V-ROX has become an established event in the far eastern lands and has also travelled around the world putting on successful showcase events in USA, South Korea, Mongolia, Latvia and in Russian cities of Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Nakhodka. Our delegated team has also taken part as speakers in various showcase events in China (Sounds of the Xity), Japan (Music From Okinawa), UK (The Great Escape, and Liverpool Soundcity), Netherlands (Eurosonic), Estonia (Tallinn Music Week) and South Korea (Zandari Festa and MUCON). We have helped our artists who have come through our ranks with a chance to perform in Russia, China, Korea and Japan.
V-ROX also took a “journey” into space — this was the main festival theme in 2016 and this year we are looking to take comfort in the blue skies with partnership with S7 Airlines.
This year the curators of the festival — Mumiy Troll band are celebrating 20th anniversary of their first two albums and guest should be expecting some amazing surprises.
We are once again striving to not only continue expanding our geographical line up and genres but as always put focus on young emerging artists from the far east of Russia.
Whether you are an artist or fan lets continue to create this unique atmosphere of creativity and emotions together at V-ROX ‘V’.
Ilya Lagutenko (Curator): ‘Sailing’ in the ‘festival world’ for the last five years is not easy, especially in Vladivostok. Each year we overcome a lot of difficulties: from the fight against the Mother Nature, to finding endless solutions; not in rock ‘n’ roll sense, but in the aspect of administrative and financial problems. I would like (the festival) to grow faster, but such festival is not based on business plans but on the ability to interact with each other as human beings and develop it together. We manage to fill the festival movement with unique content and this is where I am not afraid to say it cannot compare to any others. And of course, I wish that V-ROX would eventually become “a must place to visit on the world music map”, but here is to another five-years of hard work.
Travel and Accommodation:
Our guests will have the opportunity to fly to Vladivostok with our airline partners S7. The main festival accommodation will be with Azimut Hotel (Vladivostok).
